This is a part time City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy vocational course taught by lecturers who are experts in the beauty sector. As this is a part time intensive course, commitment to home study will be required.

You begin by practicing on one another to develop your skills. You will then progress to external clients which further enhances your skills and prepares you for either Level 3 or industry.

Optional additional courses are offered throughout the year for example gel nails and brow lamination.

Course Content

Beauty Therapy at level 2 includes:

  • Facials
  • Head Massage
  • Create an Image
  • Lash Lifting
  • Waxing
  • Eye treatments
  • Manicures and pedicures
  • Health and safety
  • Client care and communication
  • Retailing and reception duties
  • Anatomy and Physiology

Entry Requirements

Level 2 or equivalent in English. The course leader will arrange a telephone interview with all interested candidates to ensure the course is right for them. All candidates must be aged 19 or older before the start of the programme.

*Courses will run subject to sufficient numbers. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

STUDY MODE / DURATION
Classes will be on a Friday OR Tuesday 9:30am-4.00pm (with flexibility, please enquire at interview). The course runs up to 34 weeks.

Progression
