Upskill in Early Years and Education with Loughborough College

Loughborough College is set to host two Information Evenings for their Foundation Degree in Children and Young People and their BA (Hons) Education Studies courses. The events allow school or early years workers to upskill and take their career to the next level.

Two separate events will be hosted, the first of which will take place on Tuesday 25 June for anyone interested in our Foundation Degree in Children and Young People course. The second event on Tuesday 13 August is for anyone interested in our BA (Hons) Education Studies Degree.

Both events will highlight the courses available for adults who are looking to expand their education or training, whilst offering support from tutors with extensive experience in the sector. With an emphasis on employability and transferable skills, everything you learn in College will be relevant to your everyday practice.

We are proud to offer three high-quality degrees for those looking to develop a career in education, and we work in partnership with the University of Derby to offer courses designed with your personal development in mind. In order to support learners re-entering education, we offer courses on both a full time and part time basis, respecting the commitments and schedules of daily life.

Those attending the event will have the opportunity to talk to the team to help them make informed decisions.

Speaking about the event, Mat Hobday, Curriculum Manager of Higher Education Management said: “We have a fantastic range of courses available for those looking to upskill, change their career or get back into learning.  

“Learners who have completed their course with us have gone on to flourish in careers around the education and early years sector. Pathways include teachers, trainers and assessors, child psychologists, play therapists, and SEN co-ordinators.”
