The performing arts programme at Loughborough College will culminate in the first-ever Creative Arts Festival.
The week-long extravaganza of performances will be used to entertain the public, but will also form a key part of end-of-year student assessments next May.
It will be the final act of a jam-packed calendar of shows and performances which students have to complete as part of the College’s extensive and challenging programme.
Emma Ledsam, Performing Arts lecturer, said: “We’re really excited about the festival. It will be the first time we have put together a week of activities and performances in this way so it will be a fantastic experience for our students and an amazing way to end a very busy and very challenging academic year.
“Our curriculum is designed to provide students with exposure to every facet of performance, from writing and choreography to direction and even marketing. We’ve been very successful in helping students secure places at some of the country’s most prestigious performing arts schools.”
The festival will be the final act of a packed academic calendar for the performing arts calendar at Loughborough College, which has produced numerous talents.
