Loughborough College has invested in a major revamp of its sports therapy suite to enhance the facilities it offers to degree students.

The state-of-the-art facility contains therapy beds and equipment, big screen TVs and software to rival any in the country.

The suite will be used by students on the College’s BSc Sports and Exercise Therapy degree course, which is offered in partnership with Loughborough University.

Chris Cockerton, Dean of Higher Education at Loughborough College, said: “We pride ourselves on offering the best possible experience for Higher Education students and our new suite supports that ambition.

“As well a contemporary classroom environment, it creates a perfect platform for excellent practical and theory lectures which will absolutely enhance learning.

“It is the result of listening to staff and student feedback and working with some brilliant in-house teams to create a first-class facility.”

Amanda Mason is the Course Leader at Loughborough College. She said: “What an amazing place to come and learn! Not only do we have a fantastic teaching suite, but we also have a brilliant, friendly teaching team, packed full of clinicians and professionals who can’t wait to guide our students through their degree.”

The BSc Sports and Exercise Therapy degree is a three-year course for aspiring sports therapists, rehabilitation specialists, pitch-side physios and strength and conditioning specialists as well as sports scientists.
