Loughborough College is delighted to share the Radmoor Nursery Ofsted report, following inspection in April 2023.
The glowing report highlights all the brilliant work the Nursery team do, from shining a light on children’s wellbeing to having attentive, enthusiastic, and caring staff, “Children arrive at the nursery happy and excited for their day…the secure emotional bonds between the staff and children are clear to see,”
Great feedback from the inspection celebrates the strength of the vital partnership between the Nursery and parents, observing that “Parents are delighted in their choice of nursery…many have used the nursery for several years to care for their growing families, and truly appreciate the guidance and support that staff provide.”
Nursery Manager, Danielle Shipley expressed her pride in the rating, sharing, “I am super proud of all that were involved in our Ofsted inspection. The staff shone, the children were amazing, and a massive thanks to all the parents. We received some lovely testimonials and feedback,”
These bonds serve as a strong foundation for the key educational development of pre-school year children, with their desire for knowledge encouraged and buoyed by staff during interactive indoor and outdoor sessions. The report further commended how effectively the Nursery team “boost children’s self-esteem…as children move through the nursery, they make good progress in their learning and development,”
Chair of Governors at Loughborough College, Stuart Lindeman praised the Nursery commenting, “We are so proud of the hard work and commitment of the nursery team and are so pleased that the inspector’s report included such glowing remarks about the care and attention they provide to the children”
Receiving such a sparkling report paints a true picture of the fantastic work happening at Radmoor Nursery. The well-developed and exciting curriculum, opportunities, and bonds between staff and children are integrated into the culture of the Nursery and this inspection has now given them the excellent feedback the hard-working staff deserve.
Apprentice Lucy Hodge has been working at the Nursery since 2020 and added, “It’s great to have been recognised for all the work we put in for the children and babies here. Being an apprentice, it’s been an invaluable experience that has prepared me for my own future career,”
The Radmoor Nursery opened its new site on Radmoor Road in 2018 and has been an integral part of the Loughborough community for over 20 years. The facilities at the site boast dedicated safe play areas for babies and early years children, herb and flower planters in an outdoor grassy area, indoor play spaces and a sensory room.
