Following a year of outstanding practice and standards of beauty training, the Beauty Therapy team at Loughborough College have been awarded a Platinum College of Excellence certification by the UK's leading destination spa, Ragdale Hall Spa.
The Platinum College of Excellence Award certifies the consistently high standards of training and support for students, and ongoing collaboration with Ragdale Hall Spa to enhance skill development and employment opportunities.
Faz Rajput, a member of the spa’s Recruitment Team was on site to present the award to the team.
Curriculum Manager for Hairdressing, Barbering, and Beauty Therapy at Loughborough College, Claire Springthorpe, said: “We are extremely proud to be awarded Platinum status with such a prestigious spa. The required standards to receive this award include the reputation of the college, Beauty Therapy department, staff, students, and graduates. It is a real testament to the hard work of everyone who is a part of our team.”
Ragdale Hall Spa works with several colleges of the Platinum status to inspire students to excel in careers within the beauty industry. As one of these exclusive colleges, Loughborough College students benefit from unique presentations, workshops, work experience, open evenings, and treatment demonstrations at Ragdale Hall Spa. Lecturers are also given the opportunity to upskill with hands-on immersive professional development experiences.

Previous learners from Beauty Therapy at Loughborough College have undertaken exclusive training and work experience with Ragdale Hall Spa, with some alumni going on to full time employment with the spa.
