Despite the difficult circumstances, the team persevered and secured impressive results, with the added excitement of having Alfie Hammond, a Loughborough College's Motorsport UK Enhanced DiSE Academy Programme graduate, at the wheel.
Alfie Hammond, a talented young driver, recently joined the Myerscough team. His exceptional skills and background in motorsports were tested as he competed on the challenging terrain. They piloted their Ford Fiesta Rally cars through the Cumbrian forests, tackling treacherous icy roads, snow-covered tracks, and slippery surfaces. The team's efforts were rewarded with solid finishes across the board.
