Posted: 28th May 2024 - 9:40am

Talented former learners from across the Hospitality and Catering course with a combined six Michelin stars came together this week for a memorable evening of delicious food in the name of charity.

Daniella Bromley, Tyler Chapman, Andrew Collis, Lewis Dobson, Chris Goater, and Keiran Rudolph are all successful alumni from the College, who have gone on to incredible careers in catering and hospitality across the country.

Maître d’ for the evening Daniella studied with the College from 2013 to 2016, when she led the first all-female student team to victory in the Craft Guild of Chef’s Student Team Challenge. Her role for the evening included welcoming guests to the Radmoor Restaurant, where they sat for a delicious five course feast, starting with canapes from alum Chris Goater.

Chris, who was a finalist of the 2023 Young Restaurant Team of the Year competition has developed his skills at the prestigious Lympstone Manor, which has held two Michelin stars for an impressive 18 consecutive years.

Established chef Andrew Collis prepared the ‘Garden of the UK’ starter course, and Kieran Rudolph, of Michelin starred Trinity of London created a lemon sole with scallop mousse and cauliflower puree for the fish course. For the main course, Lewis Dobson, who has worked at two Michelin starred restaurants, John’s House in Mountsorrel, and Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham, prepared Anjou squab pigeon, before successful private dining chef Tyler Chapman created a delicious chocolate whisky cremeaux for dessert.

Curriculum Manager for Hospitality and Catering, Darren Creed shared, “This evening was a fantastic chance to see how our learners have soared since their days at Loughborough College and shine a light on their work. We’re so proud of all our alumni’s successes, and are honoured to be part of their stories.”
