High-flying marketing students overcame lockdown challenges to achieve a raft of distinctions, earning Loughborough College commendations from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

The College was awarded its 12th consecutive commendation from the CIM for the excellent standard of results achieved in the December 2020 assessments for Marketing Principles and Applied Marketing.

All Level 4 students achieved distinctions while all but three Level 3 students earned distinctions following the assessments.

Renee Lee-Brown, CIM Course Leader and a lecturer in Marketing for more than ten years at Loughborough College, said: “I am extremely proud of these learners, as they started the course with me in the classroom for a few weeks and then we had to undertake all of our studies remotely.

“To achieve all distinctions on Level 4 and all distinctions albeit three, that achieved merits on Level 3 external examinations, shows their continuous hard work and dedication throughout a very challenging environment!”

The CIM has now awarded more than 40 commendations to Loughborough College over the last decade.

In its latest statement to the College, the CIM said: “The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has commended Loughborough College for the excellent standard of results achieved for assessments submitted in the December 2020 assessments session for the Marketing Principles module of the Foundation Certificate in Marketing … and the Applied Marketing module of the Certificate in Professional Marketing.”
