Determined art and design students rose to the challenges of lockdown by producing exhibition-worthy artwork entirely from home.
While modules were taught online and teachers introduced virtual sculpture modules, students moulded, painted and crafted pieces from bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens.
All art and design students were without normal access to College design studios and materials while teaching moved online.
Gary Stefanetti, Art and Design Lead and lecturer at Loughborough College, said: “Producing the work entirely at home is nothing short of a miracle. So, for this I'm blown away by the sheer determination the students showed in producing their work.”
With end-of-year exhibitions still unable to take place in person due to Covid restrictions, staff and students are invited to view a selection of pieces in an online Sway exhibition.
