What is UCAS Extra?
UCAS Extra is an opportunity that allows you to:
- Add more choices to your UCAS application
- Use this free service if you have already used all five choices on your application and have not received any offers
- Gain another chance to secure a place at a university or college, even if those institutions were not part of your initial application
Apply through UCAS Extra by Friday 4th July 2025, to secure your place. Clearing will begin accepting applications on the 5th July 2025.

How to apply through UCAS Extra?
- Log in to your UCAS Hub
- Check if you are eligible for Extra (UCAS will confirm if you can use it)
- Find your course at Loughborough College – Browse our available programmes
- Pick a course and apply – You can only apply for one course at a time
- Receive your decision. We aim to respond quickly, so you can plan your future
- If you do not get an offer, or change your mind, you can apply for a different course – until 4th July 2025
