Adult Care
The Skills Bootcamp for Adult Care at Loughborough College is an intensive 13 week programme designed to equip participants with a comprehensive range of skills, knowledge and behaviours to start or upskill a career in healthcare.
The course will support learners to work towards their Care Certificate that includes the 15 standards essential to providing high quality care. The curriculum encompasses essential topics such as Roles & Responsibilities, Duty of Care, Equality & Diversity, Person Centred Values, Employability Skills, Communication & Handling Information, Privacy & Dignity, Nutrition & Hydration, Mental Health, Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Infection Control, Learning Disabilities & Autism and First Aid. These short courses are meticulously crafted to provide you with the knowledge and practical experience necessary to pursue new opportunities or enhance your current capabilities in healthcare roles.

Entry requirements
You must meet all the criteria below to be eligible for the Skills Bootcamps:
- 19 years of age or older
- Resident in the UK for the past three years
- Live in England
- Have the right to study and work in the UK
- Hold no similar qualifications
