COURSES

Access to Higher Education

Our Access to Higher Education courses have been specifically designed for individuals (18+) who want to return to study and gain the necessary qualifications for progression into Higher Education. All Access courses are one year long and are usually timetabled for three days a week.

Fees & Funding

There will be course fees to pay for most people studying one of our part–time or professional courses. However, some courses may be free based on your personal circumstances, and some courses are eligible for an advanced learner loan or Higher Education Student Finance.

The majority of our courses can be paid for using our instalment plan. In order to take advantage of our instalment plan you would need to pay a minimum of a 25% deposit to secure your enrolment. A direct debit will then be set up to take the rest of the payments for the course. We can split payments in up to 4 instalments (including the deposit), payments will go out over the period of 4–5 months depending on the date the deposit is taken.

Employer Payments

If your employer is covering the cost of your course we will invoice them as a single payment. In order to enrol you we will need a letter on headed paper or an email from the employer stating your name, the amount they will be covering as well as a name and address to send the invoice to. These can be sent to Admissions@loucoll.ac.uk

When you’re considering enrolling onto your course one of our Enrolment Team members within Student Recruitment will complete a fee assessment with you in order to establish your payment options
