There will two ceremonies taking place across the day:

Graduation is an exciting time and we are sure you and your guests will have lots of questions regarding Graduation.

Please visit the Loughborough Town Hall website for directions and parking. Please note there is no onsite parking at the Town Hall.

Loughborough is a busy Market town and can become busy on certain days of the week. To avoid as much disruption to your travel plans as possible, we suggest you plan your visit in advance and have directions for several carparks in the case of your chosen carpark being full.

Yes, students should book their place as soon as possible. In the unlikely event that you are not able to graduate due to your results you will be issued with a refund, minus a small £3 admin fee.

Gown hire is £41 (which includes the mortar board and hood)
Photography packages start at £49.00 (optional)
Guest tickets £15 each (Please note - there is a maximum of two guest tickets per Graduand only. There is no cost for your individual ticket)

Once Graduation booking has closed, any unsold remaining tickets will be released on a first come, first served basis. This will be communicated via an email to all Graduands who have booked onto Graduation.

Please arrive 90 minutes before your ceremony starts. This is to allow time to register, collect your gown and have your photos taken. If you arrive after this time you may be refused entry.

We have put together a handy Step-by-step Guide to help you navigate your special day. Take a look and feel free to share this with your family and friends.

With limited seating available to adjust seating on the day, we ask that you let us know in advance of any access requirements you or your guests may have. You can do this by contacting us at graduation@loucoll.ac.uk. This includes prams and strollers.

There are three main car parks within a short walking distance of the Town Hall. For further information, please visit www.loughboroughtownhall.co.uk/visit.

If you are unable to attend the Graduation ceremony your certificate will be posted out to you the address that we have on our student records database. For all queries please contact studentregistry@loucoll.ac.uk.

If Loughborough College graduation ceremonies needed to be postponed or relocated or cannot take place as planned due to circumstances beyond our control, we would notify all graduands at the earliest possible time by email and on our website.

We regret that Loughborough College cannot be held responsible for any loss or additional expense incurred by graduands or guests arising from the postponement, cancellation or relocation of its graduation ceremonies due to circumstances beyond the College's control. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, fire, flood, natural disaster, explosion, terrorist act (or threat of a terrorist act), epidemic or pandemic, period of national mourning, or dispute involving the graduation venue. Graduands and guests should ensure that they have adequate insurance protection to cover any losses which could be incurred in such circumstances including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs.
