You will attain the knowledge to understand designing, developing, optimising, testing, troubleshooting, and securing computer network systems. This will lead you to develop a foundation of practices and concepts to be applied to the rapidly changing world of computer network systems.
Alongside the technical skills, you will also develop and apply subject specific and generic skills that will facilitate readiness for the workplace, life-long learning, and continuing professional development. Coupling a knowledge of technical skills and personal development should allow you to make a significant contribution to the network engineering industry.
Throughout the year, you will be supported throughout your learning journey towards employment. This will include student support, academic support, and employability support. Furthermore, the delivery approach on the course will involve learning through teaching, working, doing, independent study, and learning online. Delivery on the course will enable you to collaborate with your peers to form learning communities that will enhance your learning.
