Posted: 16th June 2023 - 4:29pm

Loughborough College has been recognised for its education excellence by receiving a royal charter from the Chartered Institution for Further Education.

The institution aims to bring together the best education providers to help redesign and reshape the future of the further education system.

The prestigious charter means Loughborough College is part of an exemplary group who have a common goal to deliver the skills needed for a thriving further education system. This ties in with the College’s mission to transform and enrich lives through lifelong learning and empowering the workforce of tomorrow.

Principal and CEO at Loughborough College, said: “With an ambitious vision for the future, receiving the royal charter is further affirmation of the College’s hard work and dedication to providing an outstanding education to our learners.

“We are proud to be recognised as a key driver of economic development and growth within our local community and look forward to working with the institution closely moving forward, helping them to achieve our common vision and goals.”

The chartered status was recently conferred at an Admissions Ceremony in London, in which Chair of Governors Stuart Lindeman attended with members of the executive board.

The College was recognised for a number of partnerships and community work, including being a founding partner of the national Good for ME, Good for FE charity programme.
