Loughborough College has once again made an appearance on the silver screen, welcoming legendary football manager Neil Warnock as he takes part in a new short film, produced by College staff member, Keith Large.
Having produced and written over 30 films and series, Supervisory Technician, Keith once again showcased classrooms and staff members in the latest instalment of his award winning Wheel Gone Kid short film series.
In addition to renowned manager Neil Warnock’s exciting role, Wheel Gone Kid 4 features cameos from Loughborough College staff members, Joanne Wells and Gary Dearman, making it a true collaboration among the College community.
The Wheel Gone Kid series chronicles the quirky adventures of its main characters Yoshe and Aki, portrayed by mum and son duo Rita and Reece Jagpal-Mohan respectively. The first three movies have won multiple awards on the global film circuit, thanks to Keith’s production company, Klens Film. Earlier this year, Wheel Gone Kid 2 took home the competitive Best Series title at the acclaimed Love and Hope International Film Festival in Barcelona.
Reflecting on filming on site, Keith said: “We have fantastic facilities here at Loughborough College, and it’s a great opportunity to showcase the campus and shine a light on the talent we have working among us!
“Having Neil on board was fantastic, the newest Wheel Gone Kid instalment is going to be one to look out for.”
Keith’s unique approach to independent filmmaking has helped turn Wheel Gone Kid into a beloved series, with each instalment generating critical acclaim. Last year, Keith took to Los Angeles to showcase in the Playhouse Film Festival.
