Students studying Hairdressing and Barbering courses at Loughborough College are learning the power of colour.
Matt Brookes, an educator for ASP professional haircare products, spoke with Level 2 and Level 3 students about how to use colour.
The students got to learn how colour pigments and dyes are created, how to select the right colours from the spectrum available, and how to use the professional haircare brand’s products.
Students were impressed by what was an exciting and educational day of training.
“It was a fun way to learn, and I am excited to start using colour with real clients.”
And the Barbers were equally intrigued.
“Colour is fast becoming a more popular choice in barber shops nowadays, so it was good to learn the skills I will need with clients”.
College lecturer Kerie Mooney added, “The students find it beneficial to learn from the ASP educators in a fun and innovative way. They were excited to see how they could apply these new skills with their clients.”
