College’s Olympic heroes become record breakers

Loughborough College athletes, past and present, set new British records at the first major athletics competition of 2022.
Olympic silver medallist and College alumna Keely Hodgkinson set a new record of 1:57:20 after dominating the 800m indoor competition at the Muller Indoor British Grand Prix this weekend (19th and 20th February 2022).
Paralympic sprint champion Thomas Young set a new British indoor T38 record after finishing the 60m in 7:03 seconds, also setting a new personal best.
