“I’m ready for my next steps!” said graduate Georgia, who crossed the stage to collect her First-Class degree in BA Hons Leadership and Management Top-Up at the Loughborough College graduation ceremony earlier this month.
Having studied for her Level 3 Travel and Tourism at the College, Georgia said she knew staying to complete her Top-Up course was the right choice for her. “After I completed my Level 3 qualification, I wanted to stay at Loughborough. It’s local to me, and I knew and felt confident in the opportunities and support available to me at the College.”
Top-Up degrees at Loughborough College allow students to build upon their existing knowledge and experience, whilst combining practical skills with a focus on employability.
Now going on to study for a PGCE in Business Studies, Georgia is confident that her time at Loughborough College has prepared her for the next stage in her journey.
“I am so ready. I have the knowledge I need for this next step, and everything I’ve learnt so far at Loughborough, both academically and outside the classroom has been leading up to this.”
Georgia also credits the support of her lecturers and tutors for their continued encouragement. “I have had the most amazing support,” said Georgia. “The staff have been brilliant. They have been role models and friends. I’d 100% recommend Loughborough College to anyone considering it.”
